The Wayfarer boot is based on the Roadrunner, which was developed in 2014 as a boot for UK and European touring, and is used widley by UK police forces and long distance riders.

The leather is brown choko breathable full grain, water-repellent, and this is backed up by a 4 laminate Sympatex lining, which incorporates a waterproof breathable membrane.

The sole is Altberg's own design, Rhino, which is oil- and acid-resistant as well as having a good cleated tread which grips well on urban as well as rural terrain and which passes the BSEN slip-resistant test to the highest level SRC.
